Censorship: talkPOPc CONVERSATION EVENT @ Flowers for All Occasions with Resident Philosopher Jonathan Kwan

  • Flowers for All Occasions 1114 Dekalb Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11221 United States (map)

Dr. Dena Shottenkirk introduces the second topic in the talkPOPc project entitled Censorship corresponding with Shottenkirk’s publication Cover Up the Dirty Parts!: Arts Funding, Fighting, and the First Amendment published 2009 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing and a series of related artworks held at the former flower-shop-turned-bar Flowers for All Occasions on the Bedford-Stuyvesant Bushwick border. talkPOPc invites Resident Philosopher Jonathan Kwan Managing Editor of the Journal of Social Philosophy to continue contemplations and discussions with participants on the topic of censorship. Participants are invited to converse with Resident Philosophers on the topic and record their thoughts on the talkPOPc blog.
